Dr. David Allie, D.C.
Dr. Allie D.C. was born in 1957 and was the fifth child in a family of ten consisting of 2 boys and 8 girls. He was raised on the east side of Saint Paul and attended grade school at St. Patrick’s School. He graduated from Johnson High School and went on to complete 2 years at St. Paul Technical Vocational Institute, 3 ½ years at Lakewood Community College and 3 ½ years at Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Allie D.C. was a massage therapist for 4 years and decided to go to college to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991 and opened his practice on Rice Street in May of 1992.
Dr. Kou Yang, D.C.
Hi, I’m Dr. Kou Yang and I have compassion for humanity and a soft heart for people’s health. My chiropractic journey started back in 2006 during my deployment to Baghdad, Iraq. I became aware that our bodies can suffer greatly through the experience of trauma and stress and become very worn down.
My real story actually began in the south east part of Asia. I was born in a refugee camp in Thailand at the end of a civil war era in Laos which the Americans were heavily involved in. My family came to the U.S. as refugees in the late 80's. I grew up in central Wisconsin and the Twin Cities area. I enlisted on active duty as a Tanker in the Army right after graduating high school in 2004. I went to basic training in Fort Knox, Kentucky and was stationed in Korea, Texas, and Iraq. Shortly after my deployment to Iraq that ended in 2008, I enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard. I left the military in 2012 and became a full time student. I went to Century College, University of River Falls, WI, and North Western Health Science University. I received my doctorate of Chiropractic in 2018 at NWHSU.
During my deployment to Iraq, I developed chronic back pain that eventually led me to learn about chiropractic care and understand human anatomy. Along the way, I became aware that there is an innate force within us which can be altered from our lifestyles. We express disease when the innate force is dimmed and misaligned.
I am very passionate about helping others become better. My mission is to serve every man, woman, and child in a family wellness environment!
Kou Yang, D.C.
Teresa
Teresa is Dr. Allie’s sister and has been the office manager at Allie Chiropractic since 1992. She enjoys cooking, bowling, spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
Lori
Lori is Dr. Allie's wife. She helps out with exams here at Allie Chiropractic. She did X-Rays at Regions hospital in Saint Paul for over 20 years. She takes care of the fish at the clinic. She grew up water skiing on the Mississippi River.
